Tish well known for lots of things nowadays. She’s the wife of the artist Billy Ray Cyrus. Mother of five believes she always has a touch of designing. In this blog learn how Tish puts her magic in Billy Ray Cyrus house.

Since May, U.S. viewers have watched Tish Cyrus show off her interior design skills on Bravo, competing against her daughter Brandi to win over clients with their designs. But the show isn’t just for entertainment—it’s real-life family business. In episode four, the duo tackled a crumbling barn on the Cyrus family property, transforming it into a guest house for Miley when she visits Nashville. The renovation wasn’t just for the cameras; it was part of their ongoing makeover of the home they brought about a year ago.

During the remodelling process, she created an office in the area to serve as a temporary design studio. However, after she began working out of it, she realised that a portion of this area needed to act as both an office and a living room.

Tish fell in love once she saw the sofa. So she wanted it to be the focal of the room. Tish also says she likes personal touches such as photos, books, guitars and decorative items to make home feel more live in.

Lightning the house properly and give a contemporary-cool style.

Tish purchased the mirror in the entryway hall first because she “just had to have it.” She chose this spot since it enhanced the space’s overall atmosphere.

Tish loved working on the kitchen the most because “it’s been way too dark, way too long.” Despite the skylights, the heavy cabinet colors and black marble countertop made the space feel gloomy and weighed down.

When selecting a colour scheme Tish had no reservations about painting all of the walls in Shervin Williams’ Snowbound colour.

The hardest decision was choosing a backsplash. Tish had her heart set on a more formal-looking tile from Ann Saks, but it lacked the laid-back atmosphere she desired. Instead, she picked a dark grey grout in a simple yet striking design.

Tish re modelled the primary bedroom, which was formerly quite glitzy. “I don’t know what I was thinking when I decorated my primary bedroom a decade ago,” she laughs. “It looked like a Vegas hotel room and I couldn’t wait to change it up to something cozier and laid back.”

A Look into Billy Ray’s Studio in House

Billy Ray’s studio has beautiful architectural elements. Can we just have a minute of quiet for that ceiling? However, the flooring and darker colour palette required a modern makeover.

So Tish’s first decision was whether or not to paint the panelled ceiling. “I usually think you can’t go wrong painting everything white,” she describes. “But I decided to keep this dark stain because it is original to the house. Looking back I’m so glad I did because it gives you that really cool studio feel. I also feel like you can’t go wrong with camel leather in a studio. It feels masculine and has that 70s vibe.”
